£2.6M Education project for Wiltshire Council awarded to Bray and Slaughter

Castle Mead Primary SchoolWe are delighted to continue our long established relationship with Wiltshire Council following the recent project award to extend Castle Mead Primary School in Trowbridge. 

The project involves the design and construction of a 1200 m2 single storey classroom extension and associated hard and soft landscaping. 

The scheme has been designed to achieve a low energy building to meet a BREEAM “Very Good” score and will provide 8 No. classrooms, 2 No. resource bases, nursery, support rooms, WC facilities and circulation areas. 

Completion is scheduled for the Summer 2017 and once complete the new facilities will accommodate 420 pupil places. 

Grant Jefferies (MD) said: “This project adds to a number of education sector schemes we have completed across the region and was secured on the basis of a well rounded and compliant bid, which met the requirements of the client brief.  We are hoping to add further schemes such as this to our pipeline of works for 2017 and beyond”
