We are thrilled that the recently refurbished Monkton Park offices in Chippenham for Wiltshire Council have been shortlisted for an Insider South West Property Award in the Best Commercial Workplace category.
Bray & Slaughter assisted Wiltshire Council in further rationalising their building stock through increasing services and working capacity at Monkton Park, the re-modelling included the erection of three structural link bridges between existing floors within a central atrium to increase the existing floor plate whilst improving the buildings overall functionality
Four occupied floors were then refurbished creating additional office space, social spaces and kitchenette areas providing a modern, flexible workspace and increasing desk capacity by 200 to 540. This project forms a key part of Wiltshire Council’s Transformation Project to streamline their services and premises across the county. Works also included new IT installation, upgrades to service cores and modern interiors and furniture.
The awards ceremony will be held on 16th October – fingers crossed!
