Key Facts

Value:
£200k
Sector:
Programme:
10 Weeks
Scope of work:
The strip out of former IT laboratories and subsequent refurbishment of new flexible learning zones, vaulted ceilings, M&E and all internal finishes, including installation of new furniture.

Having safely removed the asbestos we completed internal fabric demolition and strip out, first fix mechanical and electrical, new MF ceilings and vinyl floor finishes. We managed the furniture installation and constructed a number of bespoke timber screens, which add flexibility to the learning zones.

The facility incorporates modern IT systems and interactive teaching aids. As a variation we were also tasked with substantial upgrades to nearby lavatories. The project was carried out while adjacent research laboratories and academic offices were occupied and we were able to sequence and carry out works while the normal operations of the faculty were maintained.
