RUH Enabling Works Project Complete

rsz_ct_scannerFast track upgrade and refurbishment works now complete at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

These important enabling works were part of a major redevelopment in Radiology which included the refurbishment of a CT scanner room in preparation for the installation of a new CT scanner.  Works involved breaking into existing walls to form new openings and the widening of corridors, installation of new doorsets and plasterboard infilling, removal of existing worktops and fittings, providing new power outlets, providing new flooring screed and damp proofing and all associated re-decorating and making good to floor and wall finishes. The project was completed together with the installation of the new scanner within a 6-week construction programme period.
