The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) http://www.ccscheme.org.uk/ is the national initiative set up by the construction industry to improve its image. Sites and companies that voluntarily register with the Scheme are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
The Code of Considerate Practice commits Bray and Slaughter to being a good, considerate neighbour, to concentrate on environmental issues, appearance and safety and to be respectful, responsible and accountable. We aim to apply these practices to all of our sites and set scoring targets for each assessment – continuous improvement of these scores is of extreme importance to Bray and Slaughter and this is closely monitored by our Considerate Constructor Champion and Management Team.
We are currently achieving CCS Scores ranging from Very Good to Excellent.
