Whilst on-site at Weston College we have been working with the ASPIRE team to offer site visits to students who are following the ASPIRE programme. ASPIRE is a two week course ran by the college to teach local people to be “Job-Ready”, the course aims are to teach students everything they need to help them get on the road to finding a job. We have held three site visits in the past few months and one of the attendees of the first session has now actually been employed on site as a labourer. Well done to B&S Site Manager Kalvin Smith for providing the students with such insightful, comprehensive site visits.
