Whitchurch Lane Enterprise Park

Prior to Christmas we achieved practical completion at our 601 Whitchurch Lane project.

Works included the construction of 14 light industrial units arranged over 3 vibrantly coloured blocks, for our Client Bristol City Council. Being that the site is only a 5-minute car journey from our Parson Street office, the project was an ideal opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our local suppliers and we worked hard to include the best of Bristol in the design and construction of the works.

We actively engaged with the wider community and opened our doors to hold several site tours, stakeholders and visitors included the Bristol Mayor, Marvin Rees and the members of the West of England Combined Authority.

During the construction phase we employed 6 apprentices drawn from traditional vocational sectors such as cladding, scaffolding, plumbing but we also augmented newer roles within the industry such as digital marketing, social media and business administration.  The project was a vehicle for each individual to develop skills and gain valuable practical experience.

In addition to the direct economic benefit to the supply chain, we were also able to deliver important social value benefits by engaging with local charitable groups and education providers with volunteering days and attending events to provide curriculum support in local schools.

We are proud to have been involved in this project, which will benefit South Bristol and the wider area for years to come.  We hope you enjoy the photographs and we look forward to seeing new and growing businesses moving in and prospering in their new facilities.
