Scope of work:
Construction of three new extensions to the existing building

The project comprised of the construction of 3 new extensions to the existing building located at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

Internally the original building was remodelled and extensively refurbished to provide new living spaces for workers at the hospital.

Bernard Ireland House is now a multi functional building consisting of office space, a day care centre, staff area and dormitory's for NHS staff.

Logistically the project was a challenge due to the location within a particularly constrained environment and surrounded by 'other' hospital buildings.

The B&S team overcame these challenges and the project was successfully and safely delivered.
