Controlled demolition of a single storey structure. New build steel framed extension to the existing education centre to create lecture rooms, labs, student common room and an IT suite along with the refurbishment of the existing education offices.
External façade and envelope works included multiple material and detailing challenges.
The works were carried out within the confines of the Zoo, with members of the public and animal enclosures in close proximity.
