This project involved working within an occupied building to refurbish internals spaces and reconfigure and extend the entranceway, improving the teaching, learning space and access arrangements for undergraduates in the Drama department.
Externally, we completed a paved entrance with ramps and seats leading to a new timber-faced entrance canopy. This has particularly improved access arrangements which are now DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant.
The externals were finished with tree planters and other soft landscaping with the inclusion of new signage.
